Shrouded in mystery

I seem to have a penchant for fog and mist, I guess it's easier to use low-contrast data and post-processing is simplified. Of course, I enjoy black and white imaging as much as color, maybe more.

The top image was a typical foggy morning in Lunenburg County at an abandoned farm property. I often need to use manual focus, the depth of field of the APS-C format is beneficial in such cases. The bottom image is ghostly, it's a reflection of yours truly in a monument adjacent, appropriately, by a cemetery.

The D40 and 16-85mm VR is the ultimate walk around kit.
