I had hoped to find a storm surge along the Highway 331 coast just the day before Christmas, no such luck. However, I was able to have a little fun with some of the local birds as they did their thing in order to survive - I had never seen a gull grab a clam or, perhaps more specifically, I never really studied these creatures enough to notice these habits.
The 70-300mm VR zoom was the only lens to use for these subjects.
