The view from here is always spectacular, you can virtually see all of the entire Annapolis Valley from this vantage. A polarizer is almost mandatory if the day is sunny, I am wondering if my old Tiffen softens the image, somewhat, using filters on a zoom lens (in this case, the 70-300mm VR) will always be a risk. I suppose this type of shooting needs absolute stillness, and I didn't have such a luxury on Friday afternoon......
