Gray tones of winter

It seems only natural that winter images be presented in a b/w tone as color simply is not usually apparent in most scenes. The tricky thing about snow exposures is getting the right amount of detail without burning out the snow or have it appear too dark. I have found that this was much easier to accomplish with film, the digital medium is not perfect.

The D60 had the little-used Tamron 17-50 as it's mate for these files.
