I patiently wait for my D40 to arrive, I am having a blast with the D80. It soon will be a year since I took the plunge and bought a DSLR system, that was just the start. I now have two cameras, three lenses and three flashes. The D80 has taken over 17,000 files in that time span, the D40 about 8000. Stay clear of this hobby unless you don't mind living off scraps.
I came across what appeared to be a burned out section of forest as I left Hunts Point, the long-ago fire is now giving way to new growth, including a lot of ferns that have already turned color.
This is awesome, Ron. It looks like a forest fire...without the fire.
