All good things come to an end, or at least require a name change. The Wooden Boat Festival as we have known for years has a different name and look. LOTS of pirates coming out of the woodwork and many more spectators. As a people shooter, this kind of thing is exactly what I live for, photographically - I can do without the bright sun. Flash is my friend but it can only do so much, rigorous post-processing can do the rest.
D40, SB-600, and both VR zooms were invited to the event.
