My oil furnace seems to run non-stop these days. When the morning temperatures are about -15 degrees Celsius or even colder, it's hard to get out of bed especially with a nice electric blanket to snuggle up to - but great photo opps await if you are willing to venture out in the bone-chilling air.
I knew that the Carding Mills falls would be frozen solid and there might be some worthwhile files to record if I timed it right.
D40 and 16-85mm VR, no worries shooting at 1/15th second hand-held if needed.
