I have been wanting to find a way to photograph these falls that encompass the fishway in New Germany, the fence that surrounds the water system makes it almost impossible - but, I did find a way to make it happen, after some research and making sure I had the right lens.
The beauty of Vibration Reduction is that you can play around with more aperture/shutter speed combination and still hand-hold - it was impossible for me to use a tripod will standing on a narrow cement partition.
Once positioned, I had no trouble getting what I wanted thanks to the versatile 70-300mm VR.
