Another great few moments in Mahone Bay
With the recent time change, I have to get up a bit earlier if I wan to catch the wonders of the early-morning hours. I had driven through Mahone Bay on Sunday afternoon, I wasn't happy with the few files I recorded, so I felt I needed to try, again, when I had better light.
The sunrise was amazing, I had the 70-300mmVR on the tripod. A week earlier, I had shot a similar sunrise in the harbor with my Sigma 50-150mm, which lacked the reach I thought needed. Also, the colors I get with Nikon glass are more saturated.
Although I usually use the VIVID setting, a little PP stll brings out the best in my work.
